Rock Genres
In this music video it is very interesting as he is singing about the ownership of guns and that he dosent have one. the video features Kurt Cobain the main the artist of the band swinging from a chandeler. This is an example of a Choreography as it does feature a genre of dance.
This music video has a large amount of transitions as it looks like he is in a mansion with a waterfall the transitions change through the waterfall to create a interesting but also cool effect.
The Meis En Scene in the video is very bland it just features him singing in a jumper and a pair of genes with a pair of trainers on he also has a dog with a medical dog brace around his neck.
The start of the video shows a 44 magnum slowly sinking to the bottom of the ocean this has a lot of meaning behind it as it is symbolism for the audience to figure out.

Indie Artist
For an indie band i research the arctic monkeys as these are a really good example of an indie band the video Do I Wanna Know depicts a sound wave that constantly moves and through the video the sound wave changes into sexualised imagery of cartoon drawing of women the artist image in this is harder to find as this is a cartoon based music video.
The Artist image shows a love relationship between him and

Major Artist
Duke Dumont Wont Look Back: The artist image in this music video is very cool but not only that but strange and mysterious. Again the character is also comical as they are waring granny masks and they are robbing a store with pogo sticks and trying to escape the police on pogo sticks.
The Characters in this are also a bit creepy or in other words edgy to the audience as there masks are quite creepy and disturbing.
The Quality in this video is effective as it has been produced by a major artist and that the budget for this video must have been high because of the talent hiring and the acrobats that were using the pogo sticks.
This video is appealing to wide audience as it is easy to tell that they have tried to go off of a theme that everybody will like. Other people still might not be interested in this video. Attention in this video is key as it wants to draw the audience in to what is happening around them and the narrative is also quite simple to follow as all it is, is a robbery of a shop.

The History of Music Videos
The History of music videos
Music videos have been around for as long as I can remember, they are specifically used to describe or depict a narrative of story essentially a short film which advertises the music itself. Firstly starting off with 1930s music was starting to change featuring different music videos for songs.
As I was researching songs from the 60s I found a track from Nancy Sinatra called these boots are made for walking this title was released in the early 60s it was one of the first music videos to actually feature color. There are many ways this video is different it uses sexual imagery a lot a more as it focuses on the females legs. This also has a very good dance and rhythm to the video. This is one of the first music videos to actually spark an era of female sexualised themes.
It has a very interesting video as it is set in a studio with just a group of girls dancing in front of the camera. It uses Meise en scene to its effect and it also uses a wide range of dance moves.

This is the link to the video as I said this is a very interesting track as music was not able to be downloaded because there was no internet this sold successfully due to the amount of records it produced.
